The Queensland Centre for Intellectual and Developmental Disability clinical service (QCIDD) moved under Mater in 2018.

It is now called the Mater Intellectual Disability and Autism Service (MIDAS).

MIDAS

MIDAS is a state-wide service aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of adults with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities through clinical practice, education and research.

The MIDAS clinical service provides comprehensive health and mental health assessments and management advice. Our staff include part time psychiatrists and registrar, general practitioner, rehabilitation physician registrar and an intellectual disability nurse.

More information about the clinical service and the referral criteria can be found on the Mater website
