Supporting people with intellectual and developmental disability

The Queensland Centre for Intellectual and Developmental Disability clinical service (QCIDD) is now provided by Mater and has been renamed the Mater Intellectual Disability and Autism Service. This service supports people with intellectual and developmental disability, through research, teaching and clinical activities. The services will continue to run as they have previously via QCIDD. The service location remains the same: Mater Young Adult Health Centre Brisbane, Salmon Building, Raymond Terrace, South Brisbane. The referral process has changed. Please direct your referrals to the Mater outpatient referral process and select Intellectual Disability and Autism Service on the referral form. About the Queensland Centre for Intellectual and Developmental Disability

 

The Queensland Centre for Intellectual and Developmental Disability (QCIDD) supports the healthcare of people with intellectual disability through research, teaching and advocacy. The centre is headed by Dr Cathy Franklin. QCIDD is part of the Mater Research Institute - The University of Queensland (MRI-UQ) within the Faculty of Medicine. It is located at the Mater Misericordiae Hospitals in South Brisbane.
